How does TSN Work?

IEEE Injected the concept of time into the Ethernet standard; deterministic networking works only if all connected devices — including endpoints, switches, bridges and gateways — share a common clock.
Time-Aware Scheduler allows assigning specific time slots to best-effort and high-priority Ethernet traffic, where only one traffic group (either high priority or background) can use the network at defined points in time.Â
