Roles and Responsibilities:
- Convert sales orders and forecasts into procurement plans.
- Manage sourcing, RFQs, negotiations and purchase orders.
- Ensure on-time material availability for production and dispatch.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts/excess stock.
- Build and manage vendor relationships and performance reviews.
- Identify alternate suppliers and reduce supply risk.
- Track procurement and supply chain KPIs.
- Work closely with Sales, Production, Quality and Finance teams.
- Improve cost efficiency and drive process improvements.
- Ensure ERP discipline and documentation (SAP preferred).
- Lead and mentor a small SCM/procurement team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting tools.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
